REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR SOLAR PROJECTS AT STRATFORD, CT SCHOOLS

BID #2022-08: ROOFTOP SOLAR PHOTOVOLTAIC PROJECTS ON FIVE STRATFORD SCHOOLS: CHAPEL STREET, WOOSTER, SECOND HILL LANE, BUNNELL, STRATFORD ACADEMY/JOHNSON HOUSE

The Town of Stratford is requesting bids for design/build services for rooftop solar photovoltaic systems on the following five schools:

  • Chapel Street Elementary School

  • Wooster Middle School

  • Second Hill Lane Elementary School

  • Bunnell High School

  • Stratford Academy: Johnson House

The Town will own the systems and has secured funding form the CT Dept of Administrative services Office of School Construction grants and review.

  • Bids Due: 8/4/2021

  • Preliminary Notice of Selection: 8/18/2021

  • Contracts executed on or before: Ten days after notice of selection

  • Presentation of final design to DAS:

    • Thirty (30 days after contract execution (Bunnell & Stratford Academy)

    • Thirty (30) days after substantial completion of Bunnell & Stratford Academy construction (Wooster, Chapel Street, Second Hill Lane)

  • Project Completion on or before:

    • 12/31/2021 (Bunnell & Stratford Academy)

    • 12/1/2022 (Chapel, Wooster, Second Hill)

NON-MANDATORY SITE VISIT SCHEDULE
